These women's winter trousers are quilted trousers with the warm layer already built in, so there is nothing to pull on underneath before a cold walk. The outer is a woven polyester shell stitched all over in a wave quilting pattern that holds its shape like a proper pair of trousers, with a soft sherpa-style fleece lining running from waist to hem.
A gathered elasticated waist with a drawcord sets snug over whatever is worn on top, with no belt and nothing to fasten, and there is a zipped pocket on each hip. The loose fit leaves room to move on stiles and uneven paths, and the trousers are available with either a cuffed ankle or a straight leg.
