This men's heated vest is a quilted sleeveless layer built for the moment you stop moving and the cold catches up. Rather than only holding warmth, it produces its own heat through carbon fibre elements running across four zones: the back of the neck, the upper back, the abdomen and the waist.

One button on the chest cycles three heat levels — 30 °C, 40 °C and 50 °C — and is sized to be used with gloves on. Power comes from a standard USB power bank carried in a pocket, so the bank you already use for a phone runs it, giving up to around 8 hours from a 10 000 mAh. The power bank is not included.
